Step 2: Install & Overview

Remember to update or publish your work as you go. Follow the images below.

1.) Divi Engine Account.

Log into your Divi Engine account and click the My Downloads button on the left-hand side of your screen.

2.) Download Divi Protect.

Click the big bold Divi Protect button.

3.) Upload Divi Protect.

Log into your Divi website wp-admin dashboard and make your way to the Plugins section by clicking on the Plugins button. Once inside, click on the Add New button at the top. After clicking the Upload Plugin button you will have the option of choosing a file to upload. Click this button, navigate to your downloads folder - or another folder where your copy of our Divi Protect plugin is being stored - and upload Divi Protect.

5.) Activate Divi Protect.

Activate Divi Protect by clicking the Activate button that you will find in the Plugins sections of your wp-admin dashboard.

6.) Grab your Key.

Go to your Divi Engine account, copy your key and then paste it into Divi Protect to access regular updates. See the images below for how to do this.

7.) Disable all caching software.

Caching is a powerful way of speeding up the internet. However, while editing your Divi website it is best to disable all caching software such as plugins and Divi's CSS static file generation as well as your browser cache. Remember to reactivate after you are finished with your edits.
