How To Update Server Specifications?

Introduction

Generally speaking, when building with Divi and Divi Engine plugins it is best to update your server specifications (specs) to the highest possible values. Follow these steps to learn how to upgrade your server specifications.

Step 1: Visit Divi Support Center

Go to Divi > Support Center and see what server specs your website needs. Find the recommended server specs for a Divi WordPress website.

Recommended Server Specs

  • PHP Version – 7.4
  • MySQL Version – 5.6
  • memory_limit – 128M (256 preferred)
  • post_max_size – 64M (128 preferred)
  • max_execution_time – 180
  • upload_max_filesize – 64M (256 preferred)
  • max_input_time – 180 (600 preferred)
  • max_input_vars – 3000 (5000 preferred)

Step 2: Contact Your Host Provider

Get in touch with your host provider and ask them how to update your server specs from your public_html folder.
