Introduction

Follow these steps to learn how to add an email field type to your form.

Step 1: Select Email Field

To use the Email field type select it from the Type dropdown in the main content settings of the Form Module. You then have a few options, one is to enable the button that says, Is recipient email address? What this button does is that it will use the email entered into the field as the recipient email if the form is set to be emailed.

Step 2: Define Email Layout Options

Give your Email field some style in the Layout Options section by setting the position and working with the label.

Step 3: Customize The Form

Customize the rest of your Form using our documentation to your left. There you will find, among other topics, a detailed description of the Form Module settings along with how to set up a contact form, login form, post create form and so on.

Step 4: View The Result

View the result from the frontend.
