Introduction

Follow these steps to learn how to use a select filter.

Step 1: Add Select Filter

Add a new Filter Item to the Filter Posts Module on your page alongside the Archive Loop Module. Inside the Filter Item, select what you would like to search/filter, the Post Type followed by the Select Filter Type and the Filter Value Type as String.

Step 2: Define Filter Options

The Select Filter Type has additional settings. These include the use of Select2 and the assignment of the First Option Text. If you would like to use Select2 then enable the button here and in the Main Settings of the Form Module.
