How To Translate Your Mega Menu Using WPML

Introduction

Follow this step to learn how to translate your Mega Menu with WPML.

NOTE: The key here is to make sure you have different identifiers for each language

Step 1: Translate Menu

  • Go to Appearance > Menu and make sure you have a different menu for each language
  • Make sure to change the CSS class (Mega Menu Identifier) to be different from the English menu/Mega Menus

Step 2: Add a new Mega Menu
  • Add a new Mega Menu, make sure you are editing in your language in admin - in my case it is in French
  • You can see all my Mega Menus, both English and French. This is ok

Step 3: Duplicate or add new content
  • Duplicate the Mega Menu content or add new modules
  • Make sure you change the Custom Identifier to be the same class you added on the French menu
