Divi Machine Module Overview

Introduction

Follow this information to gain a brief understanding of Divi Machine's Modules. For a detailed description of the settings of each module, visit Modules in our Divi Machine documentation to your left.

15 Divi Machine Modules

We currently have 15 Modules for you to use to build your website with Divi Machine. You will see them by typing Machine into the module search bar.

Module Specificity

Each module has been designed for a specific purpose and to be used in specific places. For example, the Archive Loop Module cannot be used in the Custom Loop Layout but can be used on pages, posts, projects, in Divi Library Layouts and in Theme Builder templates. The Archive Loop Module has been designed to display unique information about your posts on a Custom Loop Layout built in the Divi Library. Using the Archive Loop Module incorrectly will produce undesirable results.

Brief Explanations

Here is a list of each module showing its purpose and place.

ACF Item Module: Displays one ACF Field. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
Archive Loop Module: Displays the Custom Loop Layout. Used on pages, posts, projects, Divi Library Layouts and on Theme Builder Templates.
Category Loop Module: Displays categories. Used on pages, posts, projects, Divi Library Layouts and on Theme Builder Templates.
Filter Posts Module: Displays filters. Used on pages, posts, projects, Divi Library Layouts and on Theme Builder Templates.
Gallery/Slider Module: Displays a gallery of images. Used on Them Builder single post template.
Orderby Module: Displays a dropdown. used alongside the Archive Loop Module.
Post Carousel Module: Displays a carousel of posts. Used on pages, posts, projects, Divi Library Layouts and on Theme Builder Templates.
Post Content Module: Displays the post content information. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
Post Meta Module: Displays post meta. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
Post Slider Module:
Post Title Module: Displays the post title. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
Repeater/Table/Tabs Module: Displays ACF fields. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
Search Posts Module: Displays a search bar used to search posts. Used on pages, posts, projects, Divi Library Layouts and on Theme Builder Templates.
Thumbnail Module: Displays the Featured Image assigned to each post. Used in the Custom Loop Layout and on the Theme Builder single post template.
View Post Module: Displays a button that when clicked takes the user to the post. Used in the Custom Loop Layout.
