Introduction

Follow these steps to set up a filter.

Step 1: Add Archive Loop & Filter Post Modules

Head over to the page, post, project or Theme Builder Template (for custom posts) of your choice and add the Filter Posts Module and Archive Loop Module.

Step 2: Customize Archive Loop Module

Customize the Archive Loop Module. The most important settings to get your filter working are the Post Type, Custom Loop Layout and Is Main Loop.

Step 3: Customize Filter Post Module

Customize the Filter Posts Module. The most important setting to get your filter working is to add a New Filter Item and then set what you would like to Filter/Search as categories (make sure to create and assign categories).

Please know that Divi Machine's Filter Posts Module is the same as the Filter Post Module in the Divi Ajax Filter plugin. Click HERE to learn more about this module and how to customize it for your filter.
